Alpharetta resident Kareem Samer Habbal has been charged with loitering/prowling following an incident reported overnight Sunday at the Collingwood Apartments.
Officers were dispatched to the complex, which is located off Kimball Bridge Road, just after midnight March 15. The woman told police she saw a man standing outside her bedroom window on the ground floor apartment.

According to an incident report released by the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, the woman told police she first saw the man in the parking lot of her building standing next to a gold vehicle, "which was not parked in a parking space in the parking lot."
According to the report, the woman told police she saw the man move to the sidewalk in front of the apartment building. She also told police she moved to her bedroom and turned off the light. That's when she was able to see the man "outside her bedroom window in a crouched position, just inches from the window."
When she turned on bedroom's light, she told police the man ran from the window and got into the gold sedan she saw earlier, the report states.
Alpharetta police were able to catch up with the car as it was trying to leave the complex.
The vehicle left the complex in a hurry, and the officer following the sedan clocked the vehicle traveling 50 miles per hour in a 35-mile-per-hour zone.
A traffic stop was initiated at Rock Mill Park and the driver, identified as Habbal, asked police why he was stopped.
The officer told Habbal he was stopped for speeding, and asked for his driver's license to verify his information.
"I recognized the driver from a previous incident involving a male staring in windows of apartments late at night on Jameson Pass," the officer wrote.
Jameson Pass is where ALARA North Point apartments are located.
When asked by the officer why he was at the apartment complex, Habbal allegedly told police he "was looking for a bigger apartment for his father."
When asked about the time of night he ventured to the complex, Habbal responded by saying "the time change affected him, so he could not sleep," according to the report.
Habbal was arrested and transported to the Alpharetta jail for processing on the peeping tom offense. When he was asked to remove his shoes at the facility, "several pieces of pine straw" were seen falling out of the footwear.
Habbal was booked into the facility March 15 and later posted a $2,000 bond the same day. Jail records show Alpharetta police in December 2013 arrested Habbal on a peeping tom charge.
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, he was also arrested and charged with a similar offense in Dunwoody.
