UPDATE: Alpharetta Man With Special Needs Located in Crisis Shelter

Police say Yvenson Jean-Pierre was last seen Tuesday evening when he left his home to go for a walk.

Alpharetta police say Yvenson Jean-Pierre, the 24-year-old resident reported missing late Wednesday morning, has been located in a crisis shelter in DeKalb County.

The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety is asking the public to help them locate a 24-year-old man with special needs.

Yvenson Jean-Pierre left his residence on Tidewater Way the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 17 to go for a walk and “has not been seen or heard from since,” said department spokesperson George Gordon.

He was last seen wearing a long sleeve white shirt, black pants, blue jacket and black and white Adidas shoes.

“We have no reason to believe Mr. Jean-Pierre is in danger, but we simply need to locate him and check on his welfare,” Gordon added.
