Police Looking For Person Of Interest In Milton Armed Robbery

MILTON, GA -- The Milton Police Department is looking into the whereabouts of a person of interest in the armed robbery of three people last month.

Investigators are searching for Mykeis Ameer Avery, who is wanted for questioning in connection to the case. Officers were dispatched around 1 a.m. June 21 to an armed robbery call in the area of Avensong Village Circle and Avensong Ives Way, which are both located off Deerfield Parkway east of Highway 9.

They arrived to find three people who said they'd been robbed at gunpoint. Numerous items were taken from the individuals; one of the victims was taken from the area, but later released, the police department said on its Facebook page.
