Preschool Students from Carrington Academy McFarland in Alpharetta Celebrate Earth Day with Local Retirement Community
Students visited The Phoenix at Milton to deliver fairy gardens for the facility and to make crafts with residents
On April 20, students from Carrington Academy McFarland in Alpharetta paid a special visit to local retirement community The Phoenix at Milton. In celebration of Earth Day, students delivered fairy gardens they created in planters they decorated. During the visit, students spent time with and made Earth Day crafts with residents, using recycled materials. Carrington Academy teaches the importance of community and taking care of the environment at a young age.
