Prom Safety Contest Opens To Fulton Students
The contest calls for students submitting campaigns warning their classmates not to take drugs, drink alcohol or text while driving.

ATLANTA, GA — Fulton County Youth Commissioners are collaborating with Radio One (HOT 107.9), AAA, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and A-Tow to promote a Prom Safety Campaign Contest.
Schools have been invited to help promote Prom Safety by creating an innovative in-school campaign, using any form of multi-media such as social media, videography, photography, print or other methods to promote safety. The safety campaign must promote the following themes:
- Prevention of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Prevention of alcohol consumption
- Prevention of drug usage
- Prevention of texting while driving
- Prevention of peer pressure and bullying
- Prevention of violence/weapons
The winning school of the contest, which is also supported by Music Education Group and Uber, will enjoy a performance by a surprise guest. Prom goers from the winning school will also enjoy a celebrity host, celebrity DJ and a live radio broadcast at the prom.
