Register Now: Hazardous Waste Collection In Milton
If you have unwanted paints, aerosol cans, gardening chemicals or other hazardous materials, this is your chance to get rid of them.

MILTON, GA — Milton residents will have a chance to safely dispose of chemicals and hazardous materials on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Open only to Milton residents (not businesses), the event aims to provide citizens with a safe way to get rid of paints, batteries, lawn and garden chemicals and more. It's free of charge.
Accepted items are:

- Latex paints in original containers (limit 10 gallons)
- Oil-based paints, stains, varnishes in original containers (limit 10 gallons)
- Aerosol Paints/Spray Cans
- Flammable liquids (gasoline, kerosene, lighters)
- Automotive liquids (transmission fluid, brake fluids but NO MOTOR OIL )
- Gardening chemicals (pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers) in original containers
- Pool chemicals in original containers
- Household cleaning products in original containers
- Flourescent bulbs and tubes
- Items Containing Mercury
- Household Batteries

The event will take place at Cambridge High School at 2845 Bethany Bend.
