Rotary Club Donates $2,000 To YMCA Summer Lunch Program
The Rotary Club of Alpharetta's donation will help the organization provide meals for less fortunate children.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- The Rotary Club of Alpharetta has enjoyed a long partnership with the Ed Isakson YMCA, which is also based in the city.

Both organizations have collaborated on projects such as the Alpharetta and North Fulton Days of Service. On Friday, April 15, Alpharetta Rotary President Kirk Driskell presented a check to Scott Doll, executive director of the Ed Isakson YMCA) for $2,000.
The funds will go towards the organization's summer lunch programs, which provide meals each day of the week to children in need.

“We are proud to be able to continue to support the work of the YMCA in this community," said Rotary Club President Kirk Driskell. "The services provided and the opportunities afforded to our community are tremendous.”
Alpharetta Rotarians also partner with the YMCA on other programs such as YMCA Children’s Learning and Sharing Library by providing books to the library; having a family fun day at the Zoo with FaithBridge Foster Care; helping in the community on the North Fulton Day of Service; and offering scholarships for those in need of summer camp.
The Alpharetta Rotary Club and the YMCA continues to have a wonderful partnership that has a huge impact on the community in which we live.
