Ruth's Chris To Open On Nov. 24 in Alpharetta

Ruth’s Chris Steak House will soon open its new location in Alpharetta.

The restaurant has scheduled a “steak cutting” at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24 at its restaurant at 11655 Haynes Bridge Road.

Ruth’s Chris’s opening in Alpharetta will mark the 143rd Ruth’s Chris Steak House worldwide and the fourth in metro Atlanta.

In addition to brief remarks from Mayor David Belle Isle, Ruth’s Chris franchisees Nancy and Mark Oswald will present a donation to The Giving Kitchen (TGK), a local non-profit whose mission is to provide crisis grants to members of Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship, before the first ceremonious cut into sizzling steaks.

The Giving Kitchen provides emergency assistance grants to cover basic living expenses, care-related travel expenses and funeral expenses for those who meet defined criteria.

Ruth’s Chris and The Giving Kitchen are inextricably linked. Nancy Oswald, co-owner and franchisee of Sizzling Steak Concepts, the largest Ruth’s Chris franchise group in the world, sits on The Giving Kitchen’s Board of Directors.

Furthermore, TGK has recently funded a crisis grant for a long time Ruth’s Chris employee who is undergoing treatment and recovery from breast cancer and has been out of work for nearly a year.
