Service Puppy Stolen From Milton Kennel

Canine Assistants say Dorie was taken from their Milton facility on Sept. 3.

MILTON, GA -- Canine Assistants are hoping you can help them find a beloved service puppy.

Dorie was taken from the Milton farm on Sept. 3, 2016, and has not been seen since, the organization said on its Bring Dorie Home Facebook page.

"Who ever took her also took her service dog vest, harness and leash," the group said.

Canine Assistants, which is located on Francis Road, provides service dogs to assist children and adults with physical disabilities.

Dorie's vest is green and has a Canine Assistants patch on it. The company is also offering a $3,500 reward for information leading to Dorie's safe return.

Dorie is not microchipped and "is intact," Canine Assistants said. Anyone with information on Dorie's whereabouts is asked to call 770-664-7178 or email info@canineassistants.org.
