Spring Sports Registration Starts Jan. 19 in Alpharetta

Spring sports season for teens and adults is just around the corner, and you will soon be able to register with Alpharetta Recreation and Parks.

Dates and costs for the following sports are:

• Teen Spring Basketball – open team registration starts Jan. 19 and the season begins Feb. 22. Games are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at Wills Park Recreation Center and/or Alpharetta Community Center. Cost: $400/team, plus any non-resident fees. Participants must be 15-19 years old by first game of the season.
• Men’s Spring Basketball – open team registration starts Jan. 19 and the season begins Feb. 22. Games are held on Tuesdays (A-League) or Thursdays (B-League) at Alpharetta Community Center and/or Wills Park Recreation Center. Cost: $400/team, plus any non-resident fees. Participants must be 18 or older prior to first game of the season.
• Adult Spring Softball – returning team registration starts Jan. 19 for those who played in spring 2015 and open team registration starts Jan. 25. Season kicks off the week of Feb. 22 at North Park. League games are played on Mondays (Men’s C, Men’s D, Co-ed D) and Wednesdays (Men’s C, Men’s E, Co-ed C). Cost: $450/team, plus any non-resident fees. Participants must be 18 or older prior to first game of the season.

These leagues are popular and may fill quickly, so don’t delay once registration begins! You can download an activity registration form at www.arpdathletics.org. Once completed, you can scan, email, fax, or drop off the form with payment at the Crabapple Government Center, which is located at 12624 Broadwell Road in Milton.
