New signage and striping will be in place to assist drivers through the area and message signs will be utilized to alert the public of upcoming changes. Drivers should be aware that personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to the travel lanes.

GDOT awarded the more than $2 million construction contract to Bartow Paving Company, Inc. in summer 2013. In August, the company began work redirecting the intersection approach and installing a roundabout. The work was originally scheduled to last 18 months.
