St. Patrick's Day Celebration Returns To Avalon

ALPHARETTA, GA — Men and women of all ages are invited to experience the fourth annual Luck of Avalon celebration on Friday, March 16. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., you can enjoy an evening filled with Irish music, dances and, of course, plenty of green beer.

Luck of Avalon will kick off with a bagpipe and drum performance from North Georgia Pipes and Drums. Starting at 6 p.m., catch the live music on stage and follow the group as they traverse the property spreading Irish cheer until 7 p.m.

Following that lively spectacle, Az-Izz will continue a crowd-favorite tradition by transforming The Plaza into a dance floor with an exceptional Motown performance. “Over the last four years, Luck of Avalon has become a beloved St. Patrick’s Day tradition here in Alpharetta,” said Carla Cox, director of marketing at Avalon. “We are thrilled to once again transform The Plaza into Alpharetta’s favorite Irish bash and we can’t wait to see Avalon covered in a sea of green as the community comes together to sip on green beer and enjoy plenty of Irish flair."

If you want to take a break from the dance floor, be sure to head over to the Smilebooth to showcase your festive outfits and create custom GIFs to share on social media using the hashtag #LuckOfAvalon. Face painting will also be available for the little leprechauns to enjoy.

During Luck of Avalon, guests can stroll along the Boulevard and enjoy street performances all night long from North Georgia Pipes and Drums. Stop by some of Avalon’s famed chef-driven restaurants to grab some delicious Irish bites to complete the St. Patrick’s Day experience.
