Study Ranks Alpharetta Among Best Cities For Working Parents

The city of Alpharetta can add another feather to its cap when it comes to providing an exceptional quality of life for its citizens.

A study compiled by NerdWallet has named the municipality to its Best Small Cities For Working Parents list. Alpharetta placed 18th in the top 100, higher than any other Georgia city on the list.
To come up with its list, NerdWallet reviewed 961 places across the U.S. with populations ranging from 25,000 to 100,000.

“We looked at small cities because they are most often the places that offer the best environments for middle-class families,” NerdWallet states. “The places that topped our list are cities that offer the best mix of income potential, affordability and top-notch schools.”
Other Georgia cities include: Peachtree City at 22, Roswell at 79 and Woodstock at 86. You can read more about NerdWallet’s methodology here.
