Sunglasses Valued At $2,400 Stolen From Store: Cops
The shoplifting was reported Feb. 19 at Sunglass Hut at North Point Mall, Alpharetta police say.

ALPHARETTA, GA — The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety is asking the public to help them track down three suspects accused of stealing sunglasses valued at $2,400 last week at North Point Mall. Officers were dispatched to the call of shoplifting around 5:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at Sunglass Hut at 1000 North Point Circle.
They were told that three men walked into the store and stole eight designer sunglasses, according to an Alpharetta police incident report. A witness told police she was speaking with another customer when she notice the trio enter the store. They perused the sunglasses on display and left the store. However, after leaving the business, the witness noticed the empty spaces where the sunglasses were.
"One suspect distracted the employee while the other two are seen on camera stealing several pairs of sunglasses," the police department said on its Facebook page.

The entire incident, the employee said, lasted only one to two minutes. Items taken include three pairs of Dolce Gabanna sunglasses, three pairs of Gucci sunglasses, one pair of Prada sunglasses and one pair of Tony Burch sunglasses, all of which were valued at about $300 a piece, according to the incident report.
The suspects are described as black men who appear to be in their 20's. One suspect, who had a beard, was wearing a white shirt with red writing and black track pants with red stripes. The second male had on a gray T-shirt with the phrase "You're Killing Me Smalls," white skinny pants, black flip flops and gold glasses. The third man, who also had facial hair, wore a black ball cap, gray short with a white hoodie and black pants.

Alpharetta police spokesperson Officer Jason Muenzer said the suspects have not been identified.
