Suspect Accused Of Upskirting Woman At Milton Walmart

The woman said she was shopping when she saw a man crouched behind her and holding a smartphone below her skirt, police say.

MILTON, GA — Milton police detectives have issued an arrest warrant for a 27-year-old man accused of using a smartphone to snap a photo up the skirt of a female shopper at Walmart.

Police are looking for James Barron, who is charged with felony surreptitious recording of intimate parts, the Police Department said.

The woman told police she was shopping at the store at 5200 Windward Parkway around 2:35 p.m. Monday, May 21 when she noticed an unknown man following her.

"After hearing two clicks, which sounded like a camera taking a picture on a smartphone, she turned around and saw the same white male, semi crouched behind her holding a smartphone below her skirt," Milton police said in its alert.

After she turned around, the man began to walk away. The woman, however, followed the suspect and as he continued to flee, she took a photo of him using her smartphone.

Police have released that photo (far left) as well as photos obtained by Walmart video surveillance, which are displayed below.

Barrow was seen leaving the store driving a white Ford F-150 with a sunroof.
