The festival will feature more than 40 best-selling authors participating in 12 various panels and workshops.

MILTON, GA -- Book lovers will be in heaven next weekend as the Milton Literary Festival will return to town. The third annual celebration will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at City Hall.
The event will feature than 40 best-selling authors participating in 12 various panels and workshops. Sessions currently include historical fiction, veterans as authors, mystery/suspense, women's fiction, new author introductions, and publishing tips. Several New York Times best-selling authors will participate including Mary Kay Andrews, Joshilyn Jackson, Karen White and Bret Witter.
Milton Community Builder Wayne Boston states there will be a little something for everyone at this year's event, including several sessions where authors creatively perform scenes from their books. Boston adds that one of the last sessions of the day, Book an Author, includes authors chatting about their work in unique, three-minute rapid-fire presentations. This event allows a wonderful opportunity for local book clubs to connect with local authors.

After the main event at City Hall, the festival will conclude with a Literature Live Cabaret across the street at the Olde Blind Dog. You won't want to miss this special session where participating authors bring their characters to life as the audience enjoys their favorite beverage.
Finally, the festival will again feature the very popular Milton Book Trail. This mulch laden trail, built by members and volunteers from the Milton Literary Group, is located behind the Milton Library. While walking through the trail, kids and adults alike will enjoy reading pages out of Whose Shadow Do I See, a very popular children's book selected for this year's event. This year's trail officially opened on Oct. 10 and is open to the public year-round.
