This tired and dated master bathroom was poorly designed from the beginning. The corner vanity space was virtually unused, and the clients wanted a larger shower with contemporary features.
We worked with a general contractor to redesign the space which would allow for a luxurious tub to soak in, along with a shower that now has two shower heads and side jets. A frameless shower door replaced the old gold framed structure. We were able to make better use of the corner, and create a single wall-length vanity that has double sinks and mirrors.
The use of more contemporary features like the thicker quartz counter tops, glass block tile wall, free hanging mirrors and light fixtures, was counterbalanced by the traditional dark, wood-stained custom cabinetry and crystal knobs.

A soothing shade of green for the walls gives just enough color for the otherwise neutral space, and is picked up again in some of the glass block tile accents. A cream-colored roman shade softens the window, and the glass bead trim accents add a little “bling”.

Perhaps some of the most important features of the room are those that you cannot see, such as the heated tile floors and stunning chandelier! This redesigned master bathroom provides the feeling of relaxing in a luxury 5-star hotel.
