UPS Packs Hygiene Kits For 500 Fulton Students
The kits will be distributed to less fortunate students in the Fulton County School System.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Five-hundred disadvantaged youth enrolled in the Fulton County School System will receive their own hygiene kits at the start of this school year, courtesy of UPS’s African American Business Resource Group and the Ed Isakson YMCA in Alpharetta.
For many of the students returning to classes on Monday, Aug. 6, purchasing even the most basic items for health and hygiene can pose a challenge. Fulton County Schools have identified more than 1,900 teenagers who classify as homeless.
To help alleviate this issue, more than 40 volunteers from UPS’s AABRG packed 500 hygiene bags with bars of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, lotion and combs. Fulton County Schools will privately distribute the kits among high school students at 18 of the most affected schools.
