The Varsity has been operating at 11556 Rainwater Drive in Alpharetta for the last 12 years.
“We would like to sincerely thank the people of Alpharetta for welcoming us in their community for the past 12 years,” said The Varsity President Gordon Muir.
Muir added the company weighed a “number of options” and concluded that its three other restaurants outside the Perimeter ”can effectively serve our customers in this area.”
Those three stores are 2790 Town Center Drive in Kennesaw, 93 Bethal Lane in Dawsonville and 6045 Dawson Boulevard in Norcross.
“Many of the outstanding team members from our Alpharetta store already work at our other locations and will continue to carry the spirit of hospitality to our customers that The Varsity has been known for since 1928,” Muir said.
