The group on Saturday, March 12 donned work clothes and tools, and tackled several projects in support of HomeStretch, an organization that addresses some of the root causes of homelessness in the community.
It is one of the few programs in the country that not only provides housing, but works with the families to help stop the cycle of homelessness.

Each year, the Rotary Club of Alpharetta sponsors an apartment and family at HomeStretch. In addition, Rotary Club members also serve as financial and life mentors for the family they sponsor.
The group spent time erecting and painting a fence around the basketball court, completing several landscaping projects and performed some painting projects inside apartment units.
“Our club is very proud to support HomeStretch, which provides valuable services and support to members of the community," said Rotary Club of Alpharetta President Kirk Driskell. "I look forward to our continued work with Homestretch in the coming years.”
