Von Maur Piainist Named Finalist in Wedding Industry Awards

Jennifer Blaske, pianist at Von Maur department store at North Point Mall in Alpharetta, was named a Top Five Finalist in the International category of Best Musician (Solo) in the 2012 Wedding Industry Awards.

Blaske's clients and friends helped her become a finalist through an online voting process.

Blaske, who holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berry College, has been playing at Von Maur since the Alpharetta store – the first Von Maur in the Southeast – opened on Nov. 5, 2011. She has a repertoire of more than 500 songs, including classical, Broadway, standards, and pop/rock from all decades, and she takes requests from Von Maur customers.

The awards are an annual competition recognizing some of the most popular wedding vendors at a local, national and international level. Voting was from Aug. 13-31.

The vendor with the most votes in their category and location won. The awards have given past clients, peers and friends a chance to support vendors who give outstanding service or provide quality products.
