ALPHARETTA, GA — In recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, the 15th annual Atlanta Walk to Remember will be held Sunday, Oct. 5, 5:30-8 p.m. at the Northside/Alpharetta Medical Campus, 3400 Old Milton Parkway.

Presented by H.E.A.R.T.strings Perinatal Bereavement & Palliative Care at Northside Hospital and the Northside Hospital Atlanta Auxiliary, the event draws together parents, families, friends and health care professionals to remember the babies they have loved and lost.

“The Atlanta Walk to Remember is a wonderful opportunity for parents to commemorate their loss with the support of family and friends,” said Melissa Petersen, clinician at Northside Hospital H.E.A.R.T.strings Perinatal Bereavement & Palliative Care. “It’s a great day for us to come together to remember and celebrate our babies. This year, our theme is focused on the community of perinatal loss families and how they come together to support each other.”
