WellStar Breaks Ground On Health Park In Alpharetta
WellStar Avalon Health Park is expected to open in the summer of 2019.
ALPHARETTA, GA — Alpharetta and North Fulton County leaders were on hand Monday for WellStar's groundbreaking ceremony for its planned Avalon Health Park.
The new park will be a two-story, 40,000-square-foot facility housing high-quality outpatient services for those residing in North Fulton County.
Once it's up and running, the park is expected to see more than 80,000 diagnostic tests and office visits in its first full year of operation.

Scheduled to be completed in summer 2019, the health park will include primary care and specialty physician practices, urgent care, medical imaging, cardiac diagnostics, lab outreach services and OrthoSport physical therapy.

Patients will have access to various medical specialties under one roof, including family medicine, OB/GYN, pulmonary, cardiology and pediatrics.
One of five WellStar health parks, WellStar Avalon Health Park will be located at 2450 Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta.
