What's Open, Closed Christmas Week 2019 In Alpharetta, Milton

ALPHARETTA/MILTON, GA — Most services will be closed on Christmas, but Alpharetta and Milton residents should also be aware of closures on surrounding days like Christmas Eve.

Here's a look at some of what will be open and what will be closed in Alpharetta and Milton on and around Monday, Dec. 23, Tuesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) and Wednesday, Dec. 25:

• Fulton County courts, facilities and offices will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday for Christmas Eve and Christmas.
• Fulton County public safety services are available 365 days per year.
• Alpharetta garbage pick up: Homes that would normally be scheduled for collection on Wednesday, Dec. 25 will be serviced on Thursday, and service will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. If your regularly scheduled service day falls on Christmas Day or a subsequent day of the same week, your revised service will occur on the day following your regularly scheduled service. For example (using the Thanksgiving Day Holiday): If your regularly scheduled service day is Thursday, your revised service day will be on Friday, and customers with regularly scheduled service on Friday will have service on Saturday.
• The Alpharetta Library and Milton Library branches will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

• Alpharetta Adult Activity Center at North Park will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
• Fulton County Schools are off from Dec. 23 to Jan. 2, 2020, all offices are closed. Offices reopen Jan. 3, 2020 and teachers report for a work day. Students return Jan. 6, 2020.
• Municipal offices for Alpharetta and Milton will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
• Christmas is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed. No mail will be delivered or sent. Regular business hours will resume Dec. 26.
• All banks are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
• Publix: All stores open at regular hours and close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. All stores and pharmacies will be closed on Christmas day. Store hours may vary. Locate a store near you for specific store hours.
• Kroger: All stores are open regular hours on Christmas Eve. All stores will be closed on Christmas day. Contact stores for pharmacy hours.
