Alpharetta police responded to a theft by taking call just before 9 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7 at a home on Tuxford Drive.

The resident said all four wheels of his Chevrolet Tahoe were missing, and the vehicle was left sitting on two landscaping blocks and two of the brake rotors, according to an incident report.

A similar incident also was reported at a home on Graystone Crossing, the agency added on its Facebook page.

Around the same time on the same day, the agency responded to a damage to property call at a home on Celandine Way. The resident at that home said when he pulled out his driveway Sunday morning, the front wheel on the driver side of his Ford F-150 pickup truck fell off.

The man told police he took a closer look, and found all of the lugnuts for the wheel had been removed.

Alpharetta police are asking its citizens to ”take caution” before they step into their vehicles by ensuring all lugnuts are secured on their tires.
