Wills Park Pool Moves Up Opening To This Weekend
Wills Park Pool will open to the public Saturday with swim from noon to 4 p.m. on Monday/Sunday; noon to 7 p.m on Tuesday - Saturday.
ALPHARETTA, GA — The City of Alpharetta is currently working through its phased reopening plan. The city has determined the Wills Park Pool can be operated while meeting guidance issued by the CDC and other appropriate public health agencies, so it will be opening on Saturday.
Changes have been made for this summer. Public swim is from noon to 4 p.m. on Monday and Sunday; noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday. The maximum capacity has been reduced to 120 per the governor’s orders and for public safety. Entry will be on a first come-first served basis.
Sharks swim team starts Monday, with regular hours and the season is extended through July. Swim lessons will be modified to reflect the governor’s orders and for safety of participants.

Fitness and senior swim activities will not begin until June 15.
- Senior Swim: Monday and Saturday, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
- Senior Water Aerobics: Monday and Saturday, 9-10 a.m.
- Open Lap Swim: Monday and Saturday, 8:30-11:30 a.m. (one swimmer per lane, unless related. Two lanes available)
- Open Water Fitness: Monday and Saturday, 10-11 a.m.

- The pool pavilion will not be available for rent this summer.
- The concession stand will be open.
- Chairs will not be available on the pool desk; you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own seating.
- No cash, credit cards only for entry fee payments.
- Temperatures will be taken at entry; 100.4 of higher will not be allow in.
- Social distancing: The city is relying on guests to monitor their own distancing, both in and out of the pool. Every guest will need to bring their own seating so you can space it out as you see fit and make those distancing choices for you and your family.
- Be respectful and responsible; do not come to the pool if you or your immediate family members are sick.

2020 Pool Entry Fees:∙
- General fee: $8, Resident discount: $5
- Ages 3 and under: free
- Seniors age 55+: General fee: $2, Resident discount: $1
There will not be pool passes this summer. In order to receive the resident discount, you must show your driver’s license or a utility bill with your name and address.
