Willy's Mexican Grill To Open North Fulton Location

Anyone who lives in the metro Atlanta area and loves burritos most likely knows how to find the closest Willy’s Mexicana Grill.

For those who call Sandy Springs home, there is good news — and tasty tacos and guacamole — coming your way!

A new Willy’s location at 6309 Roswell Road will open on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Willy’s is opening its 24th Atlanta-area location complete with 1,705-square-feet of space and a brand new patio design for al fresco dining. Along with the regular Willy’s menu of fresh-made burritos, quesadillas, tacos, nachos, salads and the ever-famous salsa bar, the Sandy Springs location will also offer a drink menu including beer and horchata, an authentically Latin-American rice milk drink sweetened with cinnamon, sugar and vanilla.

The Atlanta-based restaurant serves made-to-order, California-style burritos in a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. Willy’s is committed to using only the highest-quality ingredients at all 24 locations. Freezers and microwaves are noticeably absent from the kitchen, guacamole and salsa are made twice a day and the restaurant uses local, seasonal products when available.

Every menu item is prepared from scratch, using top-quality produce and expertly seasoned meats, like choice lean sirloin steak, all-natural chargrilled Adobe or Sinaloa chicken and chipotle pork. Signature stuffed burritos, fully loaded nachos, tasty tacos and crisp salads are all fresh-to-order, allowing guests to choose from over 20 fresh, flavorful toppings to customize their meals.

Vegetarian options include marinated tofu and veggie burritos, tacos and quesadillas. Beans and rice are cooked without lard or animal products, making them vegetarian-friendly as well. For dessert, Willy’s serves a variety of Atlanta-founded King of Pops, including Willy’s exclusive Cinnamon Churro flavor that tastes just like the Spanish doughnut in Popsicle form.
