Another woman was rushed to North Fulton Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- Alpharetta detectives are investigating the death of a woman found inside a hotel room as a possible homicide.
The scene was discovered Monday afternoon inside a room at Homewood Suites, which is located at 10775 Davis Drive.
Officers were dispatched to the hotel for a welfare check around 1:20 p.m. March 20 when management called to say they could not make contact with a person believed to be renting the room.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office has been contacted and Alpharetta police detectives continue to comb through the scene for clues.
"At this point we have an active investigation underway to determine the cause of death of the female at the scene," Gordon said.
He stated no evidence has been uncovered to suggest that the fatality was a random occurrence, but stressed it's early in the investigation.
"We simply don't have those answers yet," he added.
