14-Year-Old Arrested After Threatening Mother With Machete

A 14-year old was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Criminal Trespass after he threatened his mother and brother with a machete, according to an Athens Clarke County Police report.
The teenager then damaged a grill at the rear of the family's Onyx Place home. Neither victim was injured during the incident, and the offender was detained by The Department of Juvenile Justice.
