$1K Reward Offered In Athens Shooting That Killed 1, Injured 3
Police identified the person killed in the shooting and said three others had injuries that were not life threatening.
ATHENS, GA — An Athens man died and three other people were injured in a Sunday shooting in the 1100 block of Mitchell Bridge Road, Athens-Clarke Police said.
Officers responded to the scene around 1 a.m., where they said 21-year-old Marquise Jackson had been shot. Police said Jackson later died at the hospital. Three people had injuries that were not life threatening.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person involved in the shooting.
