A Cell Phone Tower At Cedar Shoals High School?
The Eastside of Athens may be getting a new cell phone tower.
There's going to be a public meeting on Tuesday, September 10th, at 7pm, in the auditorium of Cedar Shoals High School.
The topic under discussion is the possible construction of a cell phone tower on the high school campus, owned by the Clarke County School District.
AT&T says the new cell phone tower will improve coverage for their customers in the area. They say that customers are driving their request.
Representatives from the school district and from AT & T will be there to talk with attendees about the proposal.
