A Grocery Bag of Drugs in the Car, Man Runs Light, Gets Arrested
An arrest isn't the same as a conviction.

An Athens resident was charged with possession of drug-related objects, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to maintain lanes. The incident happened on July 30.
Police officers arrested Marques Orlando Ward, 24, of Athens after they spotted Ward driving at erratically at the intersection of Westchester Drive and Tallassee Road--he ran a red light.

After pulling Ward over, law enforcement discovered a warrant for Ward’s arrest on a probation violation. When they searched Ward’s car, police discovered a large grocery bag containing marijuana and three digital scales.
Police questioned Ward, and he demanded a lawyer. He was then transported to the Clarke County Jail.
