Finally we’re at Fall’s bend.
I know that because
Trees sway,
Days fade to grey,
As we pack up for winter.
I know that because
I drink apple cider
As the leaves act as a perfect glider.
I know that because the lemonade stands
have vanished and my winter coat came in the mail.
I know that because
I hear songs of the birds
While my calendar says September 23.
Fall is here.
