ACC Police Arrest Forgery Suspect in Athens, Ga.

Athens Clarke County Police Officers responded to a forgery in progress at the Gwinnett County Credit Union, 4250 Lexington Road, around 2:50pm on December 12.
The first officer to arrive saw a vehicle at the drive-through window. When the suspect saw the patrol car, she attempted to drive away but the vehicle was blocked in.
The officer talked to the woman and learned she was Jennifer Hopkins. An officer searched her vehicle and found cash, checks, and various ID's. Hopkins, 31, 1044 NE 11th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was arrested and charged with 3rd Degree Forgery and Identity Fraud.
