Accused of Never Doing Anything Bad, Teenager Commits Crimes
An argument about past behavior led to criminal charges.

He broke into cars in an apartment complex on Springdale Street, and stole two pairs of sunglasses, two shot glasses, and a tape deck converter. When he was picked up later on South Milledge, eating a sandwich and smelling of alcohol, he told police he planned to return the stolen goods.
Why did an 18-year-old from an upscale Atlanta neighborhood commit a crime? According to a story in the Athens Banner Herald, because someone in a bar told him he had never done anything bad.
His confessed antics earned 18-year-old Andrew Joseph Watt two felony counts of criminal attempt to commit entering auto, and misdemeanor offenses of loitering or prowling and underage consumption of alcohol.
