Rose of Athens Theatre is continuing their tenth anniversary season with the family classic, Alice in Wonderland. The stage version, adapted by Ron Anderson of the Springer Opera House in Columbus, GA, is based on Lewis Carrollβs famous novel Aliceβs Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Our story follows the journey of a little girl named Alice who stumbles or rather drops into the magical world of Wonderland. There, Alice meets an array of whimsical characters that challenge and inspire her inner spirit. It is a tale of courage, self-discovery, and imagination. Danielle Bailey Miller, Artistic Director, is thrilled about the production, βEven if youβve seen the story a dozen times, it is worth it to see it a dozen and one times. Andersonβs script is fast paced and humorous, the music is beautiful, and the set and costumes are a feast for the eyes. Weβre working with professionals, community members and a lot of youth to bring this story to life. It is an evening at the theatre that the entire family can enjoy!β
