Athens-Clarke firefighters and Piedmont Athens Regional medical staff spent about two hours freeing the man after his leg became trapped in an auger inside a heavy equipment bucket.

Athens apartments \u200bfor rent saw slight price decreases since last July (onlineathens.com) โ If you're renting in Athens, median apartment prices dipped slightly in July, with typical listings now at $1,578, about 15% below the Georgia state median. One- and two-bedroom units are both down from June and from last July, and Athens rents remain well below national averages, according to new data from rental marketplace Zumper.
