Athens Clarke County Library Parking Lot to be Paved

The parking lot at the Athens-Clarke County Library on Baxter Street will be repaved this week starting on Thursday, May 9.

Workers will begin at the east side of the parking lot, closest to Dudley Drive, and work their way west toward the middle school. The work is expected to be completed by Sunday afternoon.

During the work, approximately half of the parking lot will be closed each morning. The library will remain open regular hours throughout the paving. Additional parking is available at the Clarke Middle School soccer fields, directly behind the library and accessible from Dudley Drive.
