Athens hosting thousands at the 2016 Pokemon Spring Regional Championships!

Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and video game players, their supporters, and Pokémon fans from throughout the Southeast are invited to attend the 2016 Pokémon Spring Regional Championships the weekend of May 21st and 22nd. The Classic Center is hosting the open event where competitors will vie for the coveted title of Pokémon Spring Regional Champion and valuable Championship Points. Players that achieve a top Championship Points ranking following the 2016 Pokémon U.S. National Championships in Columbus, OH this July will earn an invitation to compete at the 2016 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco, CA in August.

The Pokémon TCG Spring Regional Championships begins Saturday, May 21st at 8:30 a.m. while the Pokémon Video Game Spring Regional Championships will be held in its entirety on Sunday, May 22nd beginning at 8:30 a.m. Players of all ages and skill levels in good standing are encouraged to participate in the family-friendly event.
