Athens Man Charged With Aggravated Assault In 2 Separate Shootings

ATHENS, GA — An Athens man accused in two separate shootings last year was arrested Friday, according to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.

Ytrevious Roberson, 20, is charged on suspicion of several counts of aggravated assault, violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, police said.

Roberson is accused in a Jan. 13, 2022, shooting in the 100 block of Chatham Drive and a Dec. 29, 2022, shooting in the 300 block of Carver Drive, police said.

Specific details, including motives, are unknown.

Douglas Dalton Jr., 26, of Athens, is charged on suspicion of hindering apprehension of a criminal after being accused of hiding Roberson from law enforcement in an attempt to prevent his arrest, police sid.
