Athens Police Arrest Man with Stolen Truck, $3,000 in Tools
The tools had been reported stolen in a burglary of a storage building at River Mill Apartments on Stone Mill Run.

On October 15, officers responded to the parking lot of Walmart after a witness observed Andrew Sartain operating a pick-up truck that had been reported stolen on October 11.
During the investigation, a number of tools were located in the truck. It was determined they had been reported stolen in a burglary of a storage building at River Mill Apartments on Stone Mill Run.

The tools, valued at approximately $3,000, were returned to River Mill.
Sartain, 27, Winterville, was charged with Theft by Taking of the truck. Additional warrants are forthcoming pending the completion of the investigations.
