Athens Police: Shooting Suspect 'Armed and Dangerous'
Police have named a suspect in the Tuesday shooting on Hickman Drive.

Athens-Clarke County Police are looking for a man suspected in a Tuesday morning shooting on Hickman Drive.
He should be considered armed and dangerous, police said in a news release.
Warrants for armed robbery and aggravated assault have been issued for Timothy Damon Carruth, Jr., 19, who was identified as the intruder who struggled with and shot a man inside a Hickman Drive residence around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Officers responded to a possible shooting and found the victim on the floor with a gunshot wound, police said. The victim was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Carruth is described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 135 pounds. His last known address was on Hickman Drive.
