Athens Schoolchildren Plan to Visit Corn Dawg Maze Celebrating Chipper Jones

Baseball player Chipper Jones is spending the Halloween season in Loganville this year – well, at least his likeness is.

The 2012 corn maze at Corn Dawgs has been designed in the likeness of the popular Atlanta Brave player, as an aerial photo clearly shows. Last year, the maze was designed as a tribute to Coca Cola - another Atlanta staple. This year it is a tribute to Jones' 19 years as an Atlanta Braves player.

There is still a couple of weeks until the season officially opens. Find out all the festivities Corn Dawgs has planned for the 2012 Halloween Season, as well as start times and costs, from the website. Many Athens public school children will be visiting the Corn Dawgs as a field trip in October.
