Athens Teen Shot By Juvenile: Police
A teenage boy had serious injuries, following a Saturday shooting near Essex Court.
ATHENS, GA — A 13-year-old boy had serious injuries after being shot Saturday, according to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.
The boy was shot around 2 p.m. in the 100 block of Essex Court, police said.
According to authorities, another juvenile who had access to a gun fired it, shooting the teen.
