ATHICA Mystery Triennial Exhibit

We enjoyed the opening reception.

Saturday marked the opening of the "Inaugural Small Works Fundraiser" for . The exhibit comprises a total of 245 works by over 120 local artists, and all of the objects are available for sale for set prices of $60 each, $100 for two.

The " aspect of the exhibit is that the works on display are not identified with the artists' names -- although, to be sure, some of the artists' styles are unmistakable. Following the mystery theme, visitors are invited to enter a "Who Dunnit?" contest, with prizes to be awarded to the participants who match the greatest number of artists with their works.

The exhibit will run until Sunday, 9/18, and the contest will end Thursday, 9/15, with musical and other events to be presented during the course of the exhibit. Additional information is available on ATHICA's website.

The accompanying photographs, from the opening reception on Saturday, should provide some of the feel of the exhibit and illustrate the variety of objects on display.
