Attempted Burglary on Meadowbrook Road

Early in the morning of Wednesday, August 7th, a homeowner on Meadowbrook Road contacted Athens Clarke County police about a burglary.
The resident told police he had heard a noise at his front door. He looked out and saw a black man in camouflage "messing with the lock" on the front door.
He called out to the man and the man left. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
