Doug is the AAHS Adoptable Dog of the Week!

Doug is a smart puppy learning lots of basic commands while he waits for his new forever home!

Doug is part of the AAHS re-homing program. His previous owners left him outside a vet office because they couldn’t afford to take care of him. Doug has a great temperament and loves to play. He knows how to sit, he walk great on a leash, he's almost housebroken, and his foster mom is working with him to learn other basic commands. We believe he is 3 to 4 months old and will be a large dog when fully grown. Doug is great with other dogs and people of all ages. He is very curious with cats, so a cat-free house would probably be best.

To set up a meet and greet with Doug or to learn more about him, please email dogs@athenshumanesociety.org or call 706-705-2247.
