Elvis is the AAHS Adoptable Dog of the Week!
Elvis is an adorable low-rider who will steal your heart! He gets along with other dogs, cats and kids and will melt your heart when you look into his beautiful crystal blue eyes!
Elvis was found as a stray by animal control, and (unbelievably) no one ever came to claim him. He is a big lover and just wants to be petted and lay by your feet all day long. He is a Basset Hound mix that is approximately 2-3 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. He has a low to medium energy level and is fine with just a few short walks per day. He is great with children, all other dogs and even cats, too! He could easily go to a home where he'd be a single dog or one with multiple dogs. He is crate trained, potty trained, and despite being a hound, he is quiet at all times. He knows basic obedience commands and quickly responds to corrections. All in all, this adorable low-rider is sure to steal your heart. Give him a chance, and set up an appointment to meet him today!
Elvis' Canine-ality is Busy Bee: I’m a naturally playful, curious, and trusting canine. Take me for a big walk every day; give me something to do. After my job’s done, I’ll curl up in front of the fire with you in the evenings. (Externally motivated)
