Meet Kaya, AAHS's Adoptable Dog of the Week!

Kaya was a stray, but is now looking for an active family to give her plenty of love and exercise. She's great with kids and other dogs, but is still learning how to live with cats. She would be happier in a home that is occupied more than vacant. Her current caregivers are working on training her to know that the crate is a good place.  Kaya loves to be outside, but she can climb a fence if she is left without a companion, either two or four-legged. Kaya knows basic commands and can be off leash, if you are in a safe area. Every day she is improving on her training and learning more commands--what a smart cookie she is! Kaya is about one and a half years old and weighs 50 lbs.
