Mona is the AAHS Adoptable Cat of the Week

Mona is the young mother of kittens TJ and Rascal, who have already found their forever homes. They all lived in a foster home together prior to coming to the shelter. Mona was a sweet and patient mother who really enjoyed playing with her kittens. According to her foster mom, Mona loves to play with toys. She is very fun and entertaining.

She is pretty quiet and laid back for the most part. She has been a little more shy than usual since moving from her foster home to the shelter, but that is to be expected and we are sure she'll bounce back to her true self once in a home again! She is not a big cuddlier, but she loves to be near you and be petted. She seems to enjoy meeting new people and is a friendly and outgoing cat most of the time.

Mona's Feline-ality is Personal Assistant: You're working on the computer? Let me press the keys. Reading the paper? I'll hold the pages down for you. Watching TV? I'll just plop in your lap so you can pet me. I love an orderly household, don't you? I'll help you with all your chores, and I'll help you relax when we're done. You'll wonder how you ever managed without me.
